To add a drilled shaft to the column:

Click Drilled Shaft to activate the Drilled Shaft screen.

1. Select the type of drilled shaft, either circular or rectangular.
2. Input the values for diameter, depth, width (rectangular only), and height.
3. Select the Included check box. This will include the drilled shaft parameters in the calculations.
4. Click OK to accept the values and return to the Rounded Column screen or Rectangular Non-Tapered Column screen.
5. Click OK and return to the Geometry screen. Notice that image displayed in the model area will be updated to include the drilled shaft.
